For dental practices · SEO
SEO for dental practices, shown working.
Measured before anything changes, built on the searches your patients actually make, and reported every month in plain English. What we do is on this page; so is what nobody can promise.

The method, step by step.
The same order every time, because each step depends on the one before it.
- 1
Measure first
Search Console, analytics and enquiry tracking set up in your name, and a dated record of where things stand before we touch anything.
- 2
Write down the searches
The ten to fifteen things your patients type, in their words, written down before we look at any data — then checked against what people really search.
- 3
Fix what is broken
Speed, structure, pages Google cannot read, and titles that do not say what the page is about.
- 4
A page for each treatment and town
Written by someone who read the GDC guidance first, and checked by a clinician at your practice.
- 5
Earn the local signals
Your Google Business Profile, a steady way of asking for reviews within the rules, and the directories that matter for dentists.
- 6
Report what happened
A monthly page: what we did, what moved, what did not, and what comes next.
What nobody can promise, and why
Nobody controls Google. Anyone promising a ranking, a number of visitors or a number of new patients is promising something they do not own. We tell you what we did and what moved, every month, and you decide whether it is worth continuing.
The searches we start from.
Every practice’s list is its own, written with you. These are where most start.
- 01
“dentist near me accepting new patients”
A clear new patients page, and a Google profile that says the same thing.
- 02
“emergency dentist [your town]”
An emergencies page: what to do, when to call and what happens out of hours.
- 03
“private dentist near me”
Private treatment and fees explained, without making NHS patients feel unwelcome.
- 04
“teeth whitening cost”
A treatment page with how the fee works and what is included.
- 05
“clear aligners near me”
An aligners page that explains who it suits and what the process involves.
- 06
“scared of the dentist”
A kind, practical page about how you look after anxious patients, and a gentle way to book.
The first twelve weeks.
- Weeks 1–2
Measure
Accounts in your name, enquiry tracking, a conversation about which patients you want more of, and the dated starting point.
- Weeks 3–4
Fix and focus
The broken things first, then titles and pages for the searches that are close to working.
- Weeks 5–8
Build
Treatment and town pages, agreed with you and checked by a clinician before they go live.
- Weeks 9–12
Local
Your Google Business Profile, reviews and directory listings, then a report on the whole quarter.
Before any of it starts: Search Console, analytics, your Google Business Profile, the website and the domain are in the practice’s name, and we are given access. They stay yours whatever happens.
Your Google Business Profile.
For a dental practice it is often the first impression, before anyone reaches the website.
- 01
The right categories
Dentist as the primary category, and others such as dental clinic or cosmetic dentist only where they are accurate.
- 02
Hours that are true
Opening hours, holiday hours and emergency arrangements kept current.
- 03
NHS or private, said plainly
In the description, and kept in step with the website and your NHS listing.
- 04
Photographs of the real place
The practice, the waiting room and the team, not stock images.
- 05
Replies to reviews
Polite, and never discussing anyone’s treatment: patient confidentiality applies in public too.
A monthly report, in plain English.
One page, written for a practice owner. Every number in it is one you can check yourself in your own accounts.
- 01
What we did
Each change, the date it went live and why it was made.
- 02
What moved
Searches, visits and enquiries from Search Console and your analytics, against the dated starting point.
- 03
What did not
Said just as plainly, with what we think the reason is.
- 04
What comes next
The next month’s work, for you to agree or change.
Questions about dental SEO
- Can you guarantee we will reach the top of Google?
No. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is guessing on your behalf. We guarantee the work, show you all of it, and explain what changed and why.
- How long before anything changes?
Fixes show in Search Console within weeks. Where you appear for the searches that matter changes over months, and the monthly report shows you what has and has not moved.
- Do we need a new website first?
Not always. If your site can be fixed, we fix it. If it cannot carry a page per treatment and the rules above, we will say so, and a new practice website is the other half of what we do.
- What do you need from us?
Access to the accounts listed above, an hour for the first conversation, and a clinician to check clinical pages before they go live.
- Can we stop?
Yes. SEO has a three-month minimum; after that it stops at the end of any month, and everything we set up stays yours.
Send us your practice’s address. We will read your site and tell you what we found — free, and without a sales pitch.
